Philosophy and Pedagogy

The John Dewey pedagogical base includes, in addition to the conscientiousness and action of the adults, the creation of the reading habit, large and pleasant classrooms, libraries, laboratories, art rooms, spacious play areas, dining facilities and comfortable restrooms. All of these contribute toward shaping the ideal environment for developing happy children. Besides having a global vision toward learning the school develops different didactic and scientific projects like the astronomy club in which one develops a relationship with the community regarding certain themes; also, the TV academy in which students develop verbal and corporal abilities of expression; finally, among other clubs, the reading club which encourages good manners and family analyses of the contents of each title read. All of these activities are essential in order to achieve the final objective of our mentor, John Dewey.
